Kasyno New Hampshire Nash otrzymało lokalne zezwolenia

By - 4 lipca 2024 r

A new casino is set to open in the shuttered Sears store at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, New Hampshire, US, called The Nash Casino. The owners of the former Sears store have received approval to use the space as a casino, with architects Klai Juba Wald Architecture employed to create initial designs for the project.

The charitable gaming venue will take up 130,000sq.ft of the 180,000sq.ft, two-story space and is set to open this winter. The casino has approval to operate slots, Historical Horse Racing machines and table games, offer dining options at three restaurants, though the proposal has stirred up opposition locally due to increased traffic concerns and need for additional police resources.

The casino is a US$250m investment by ECL Entertainment that is expected to create approximately 600 to 700 jobs, contributing US$22m annually in payroll and related costs.

“Our goal is to create a vibrant space that not only provides top-notch entertainment and drives economic growth in the region but also significantly supports the greater Nashua community through charitable contributions,” stated Managing Partner, Marc Falcone.

EC NH Real Estate Holding, Inc. bought the former Sears anchor spot for $11.5m in November 2023. ECL Entertainment and Clairvest, a Toronto-based private equity firm, bought the Lucky Moose Casino and Tavern and The River Casino & Sports Bar, both in Nashua, to enable them to eventually open a “leading gaming operation in Southern New Hampshire.”

In all, there will be 1,200 slot machines and 62 table games, according to the submitted plans. Future plans could add 300 more slots. Once open, it is expected to generate approximately $24m annually for over 100 local nonprofits.
