UK – Elizabeth Line transforms ICE journey

Central London will be a 12-minute journey for ICE attendees following the opening of the ‘game-changing’ £18.7bn high-speed train line, which reduces Heathrow/ExCeL journey time to 43-minutes.
The travel experience for both domestic and international visitors attending February’s editions of ICE London and iGB Affiliate London will be transformed following the opening of the capital’s new £18.7bn high-speed train line. The Elizabeth line, which officially opened May 24 has reduced journey times from central London to ExCeL to just 12-minutes.
Czas podróży od drzwi do drzwi z londyńskiego lotniska Heathrow, głównego węzła międzynarodowego, z którego korzysta wielu gości międzynarodowych pokazów ICE/iGB, zakończy się jesienią 2022 r. i będzie obejmować jedną nieprzerwaną podróż pociągiem trwającą 43 minuty. Podróż pociągiem na lotnisko London Stanstead zajmie 54 minuty, a na lotnisko London Luton – 34 minuty. Linia Elizabeth będzie kursować 24 pociągi na godzinę, co umożliwi jej przewiezienie ponad pół miliona pasażerów dziennie.

Since reopening in summer 2021 ExCeL has welcomed over 1.5 million visitors and has invested in a 25,000sq.m expansion programme to further enhance its facilities.
